Manitoba's Outstanding Young Farmer will be crowned in March.
Regional administrator Angela Fox says there is a couple from Laurier nominated this year.
"Clint and Shannon Desjardins. They own and operate Cattle Drive Ranch, which is a cow-calf operation."
Fox says they started with four nominees and have narrowed it down to two. The other nominees this year are Brent and Kirsty Oswald.
The winner will be presented with the award at a banquet on March 4.
