Grandview comes up quite a few times if you look at the Kraft Hockeyville website.

Grandview is hoping its GACC will make the contest's top ten, which comes with a $25,000 prize for rink upgrades.

Grandview rec director Jill Wiebe says they entered the contest last year as well, but this year they're already doing better.

"We have a lot more nominations this year compared to last year. I think we're over 30," said Wiebe yesterday.

Kelwood, Minnedosa, Neepawa, and many other Manitoba communities also have rinks nominated for this year's Kraft Hockeyville.

You can vote at khv2017.ca. Nominations close February 5th. The top ten will be announced March 4th.
