Manitoba's Premier is expected to make a big announcement today.
Brian Pallister was at Manitoba Ag Days yesterday, where he told the crowd an announcement was coming within 24 hours, but he didn't say much, telling reporters afterwards that he's sworn to secrecy.
"We will be making a very positive announcement for the entire province, and it's an indication of the kind of thing that we're going to be promoting," said Pallister.
According to the premier, a soon-to-be-revealed green plan will include an overall water management strategy with measures to address drainage and pursue precision farming.
