The future of the Gilbert Plains/Grandview Ag Society fair and rodeo may be a stake.

Vice-president Murray Stoughton says the service club is struggling, and they need new ideas and new people to step forward.

The Ag Society is holding its annual general meeting tonight at 7:30 at the Gilbert Plains RM building. Stoughton says it's the perfect time to come out if you're interested in helping.

"We would be glad to see new faces and people that would be interested in helping... it's a lot of fun, you're working with a great bunch of people."

He says he hopes it doesn't come to it, but losing the fair is a possibility if they can't get people to do it.

On the board, Stoughton says they're looking for a new president in particular.
