Thanks to the weather there will be no mail delivery in rural Manitoba for the time being.
Canada Post says it's a red alert -- it's not safe to send delivery agents out in rural areas due to severe weather and the closure of several highways.
Once conditions improve, mail service will resume.
In urban centres in Manitoba, mail delivery is at a yellow alert. That means delays, and possibly some mail will not be received today.
