The finance minister came through Dauphin a while back, but now a pre-budget consultation is being held in another part of the constituency.
Dauphin MLA Brad Michaleski will be hosting his own pre-budget forum at Roblin's Harvest Moon Inn from 7-9 next Thursday night.
He says if people want to make a formal presentation, they can pre-register with his office.
"Essentially, the first part of the consultation is five minute presentations of a group's representation, plus there they share ideas and suggestions, and we do that for the first part of the consultation and then if there's time -- and there usually is -- there's time for sort of open questions from the floor."
Anyone is welcome to attend the meeting, whether individuals, groups, or organizations.
