December is only a couple of days away with Christmas parties popping up across the Parkland.
On Friday, the Gilbert Plains Drop in Center is holding a Christmas Market Party open to all residents.
Drop in Center member, Liz Wiwcharuk feels the dinner will have a number of seasonal favorites.
"The supper is filled with nice things turkey and ham, and the dressing and vegetables, and of course the turnip that's always a given when there's a Christmas party... the deserts are also going to be really nice, there going to be colourful to."
Doors open at 4 pm, and plates are $12 dollars a piece.
