Winter has arrived, and it's causing a number of cancellations across the Parkland.
Since late this morning snow has been falling in the area, with Enviroment Canada expecting roughly 20 - 30 cm by Wednesday.
Dauphin Fire Chief Cam Abrey, would like to remind residents about driving safely.
"Of course with a day like today with the freezing rain, watch your speeds, slow down, drive for the conditions and be cautious for other drivers as well."
The following events have all been cancelled for tonight; Senior Drop In Centre Bingo in Ethelbert, Parent Council Meeting at Whitmore School, Grandview Rec Commission Bingo in Grandview and all Zurka dance practices at the 11th Ave Hall in Dauphin.
A snowfall warning is still in effect for the Parkland.
