Nursing students at Assiniboine Community College Parkland campus today will have the opportunity to participate in a real life scenario.
Partnered with STARS Air Ambulance, ACC is offering a workshop to all it's nursing students in how to deal with an emergency while on site.
Second year nursing student, Emily Sturmer says the workshop was a bit stressful but a good learning experience.
"It was pretty exciting, it was good we got to just experience what we're going to experience once we graduate and it's a little stressful because you're really not sure exactly what you're doing is right... there was a few people in there, and we all had to have opinions."
The STARS Training Bus will be on location until approximately 3 pm.
