Nursing students at Assiniboine Community College here in Dauphin will have the opportunity to gain first hand experience.
This Friday beginning at 8:30 am, STARS Air Ambulance's training bus will be making a stop at the Parkland campus.
Practical nursing instructor at ACC, Crystal Bonnett says students will work together in groups and be able to apply the skills they have learned so far.
"We are going to group our students in about four to five students per group and they will get a chance to use their skills that they have learned up until now... they have a mannequin that speaks a breathes, it blinks, it has reactive pupils, it has a heart beat, a pulse."
The workshop is schedule to run until 3 pm.
