RCMP are investigating a death on Highway 10 north of Mafeking.
Police responded to the report of a male lying in the middle of the highway this morning.
When officers arrived, they attended to a male whose injuries police say were consistent with being hit by a car.
A 23-year-old man from Dawson Bay was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is currently underway and those driving in the area are asked to be cautious and slow down for emergency personnel.
