A Ste. Rose high school student is one of 15 girls selected by a Winnipeg modelling agency to attend an industry conference in Vancouver.
Avery Shankaruk will be in Vancouver in the first week of November.
She says Panache Model Agency discovered her on social media last spring.
"The have scouts online, like their Instagram, Twitter, everything -- and they just asked for me to call and I decided to give it a try."
Shankaruk says there is also a gala event in Winnipeg on October 30th.
