Another fatal collision in Manitoba has claimed the life of a 17-year-old.
RCMP responded to the report of a single-vehicle collision on Highway 207 east of Lorette just after 4:30 yesterday morning.
According to police, the car had rolled and landed in a ditch on the north side of the road. The passenger of the vehicle, a 17-year-old male from Lorette, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say he was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.
The 17-year-old male driver was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the collision.
