The House of Commons Agriculture Committee says Manitoba will not be included in a planned consultation tour.
The announcement was recently made, raising eyebrows for some agricultural producers in the province.
President of Keystone Agricultural Producers of Manitoba, Dan Mazier says this is a lost opportunity for them and the Committee.
"They really should be coming like to Brandon or Dauphin to really get their head around how agriculture is in the province, and they lose all that! Their losing touch, so our only other avenue to get to this committee is to go and present to Ottawa and that's what their saying right now."
