It's all about the chili in Dauphin!
In an hour's time the Parkland Mental Health Committee will be holding its 7th annual Chili cook-off.
Outreach Manager for the Mood Disorders Association in the Parkland Region, Elanor Snitka says she remembers some really good ones in the past.
"I remember some groups having some very exciting set ups for their display, for their chili, they have costumes... I remember the Fire Department had some kind of smoke screen and so on, and I think their chili was about that hot that we were breathing smoke too, so ya we've had some pretty good ones."
Admission is only $2 dollars, allowing you to sample all types of chili and eventually vote for your favorite one.
The cook-off will be held at the Dauphin Friendship Centre.
