Areas of the Parkland are currently flooded, as overland flooding continues to affect the area.

Heavy rainfall has slammed the Parkland since Monday, with 70 to 100 milimetres of rain falling on the western and southwest part of the province.

Ochre River has been hit particularly hard, with Reeve for the RM of Lakeshore Clinton Cleave saying public works is handling the situation.

"Right now Public Works is out there, they are marking any roads that have been damaged or have water over them right now... they do put up barricades, or mark them with the orange diamonds which means to slow down or be cautious.

Cleave would also like to remind the public to drive cautiously, and do not drive through areas where flooding has occurred.

Last night three people were pulled from the Ochre River by the Dauphin and Ochre River fire departments, after their vehicle tried to pass over the washed out Skane's Crossing.

No one was hurt.
