With the first month of school coming to an end, Mountain View School Division continues to be busy.
Last night, many talking points were raised during the division's board meeting including the ongoing construction at Mackenzie Middle School.
Superintendent CEO for MVSD, Donna Davidson says she is pleased in the direction that Mackenzie Middle School is going.
"We're very pleased with the progress at Mackenzie Middle School, we welcomed the students into the new wing -- the Industrial Arts and Home Ec wing -- this year and they started their September off with the new woodworking shop, the drafting shop, and the kitchen."
Davidson also said the school's gym is scheduled to be complete and open to students in three weeks time.
