Some Dauphinites will be walking to raise awareness about abused children across the country.
Dauphin's annual Grandmother's Walk will be taking place next week in collaboration with the Friendship Centre.
President of the Dauphin Friendship Centre Susie Secord says the walk is next Wednesday.
"It's held every year on the same date, on September 21, and that's sort of in relation to the changing of the seasons-- the Solstice."
Secord says the walk is open to everyone and encourages the community to participate.
