School may be starting next week for most, but for some it's already begun.
Today, Assiniboine Community College Parkland Campus got students ready for the new academic year with Explore ACC by throwing a barbeque lunch.
Parkland Campus Director, Gabe Mercier says he is looking forward to the upcoming year.
He added, "We are always open to any visitors or individuals to the community... we do have one new program starting next month plus our traditional programs as well."
Mercier also mentioned how Brandon University is on campus, and that numbers are up since last year.
Assiniboine Community College currently has a joint partnership with BU for the new academic year.
