A casino just outside of The Pas may be closing its doors.
An official with the Asenekak Casino says the business needs a larger market, looking at areas closer to Winnipeg. The news comes just days after Tolko Industries announced that it would be closing down its facilities within the area.
CEO Suzanne Barbeau Bracegirdle says less than a quarter of the casino's gaming machines and tables are being used.
She says the casino's 150 staff have been invited to relocate if the move happens.
