The City of Dauphin will be more colorful this upcoming weekend.
On Saturday, Dauphin's third Color Blast 5K Fun Run will be happening across the city beginning at 10 am near the Grand Stand.
Run Coordinator, Kevin Steinbachs says the idea began with his wife three years ago. He added, "That year the only one that going on was in Winnipeg that was the closest - didn't feel like going to Winnipeg to do it - and figured the skating club needed a new idea for a fundraiser, selling chocolates just wasn't doing it anymore."
Registration for the event ends tonight at midnight with all proceeds going towards Skate Dauphin.
