Building your resume can be difficult, but the Manitoba Youth Job Centre is here to help with that.
The Youth Job Centre here in Dauphin is holding a Resume Building Workshop tomorrow, where youth will learn the basics to writing up a resume.
Manitoba Youth Engagement Leader, Lindsay Sanderson says the best thing to put on your resume is your volunteer experience.
"Lot's of my students, a lot of them would hand out bracelets at doors or picking up garbage and that type of things, and they didn't find that important or they didn't think they could put that on it. So definitely volunteer experience. It just shows that you are out there and that you are working on your skills."
The workshop is free and is tomorrow at 1:30pm at the job centre.
