St. Paul's Anglican Church Prepared For Bad Weather
Bad weather won't stop St. Paul's Anglican Church this morning.
The church is committed to hosting a Yard Sale Fundraiser that was scheduled today rain or shine. Father Chad McCharles says although the event is promoted as a yard sale, both facilities (inside and out) will be used today in anticipation of rain.
The Yard Sale Fundraiser is scheduled to run this morning from 8am until 12noon.

Rollover in Manitoba
RCMP are investigating a vehicle rollover near Lynn Lake on Highway 391. Police said an SUV was travelling northbound when it lost control on the gravel portion of the roadway before rolling over into a ditch.
The driver, a 28-year-old Thompson man, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The only passenger suffered non-life threatening injuries.
A collision analyst is assisting the ongoing investigation in order to establish the contributing factors to this collision.

Manitoba Teen Scolded Over Facebook Comments
A Manitoba teenager was let off the hook but received a scolding from all sides in court after the 18-year-old mocked and applauded the death of U.S. police officers slain in a shooting last weekend.
RCMP arrested the Steinbach man after area residents reported comments he posted to a Facebook page praising the fatal shooting of three officers in Baton Rouge. He praised the shooting and suggested there were still 100 officers to go. Defence lawyer Phil Cramer says his client's comments were stupid but says you can't put people in jail for being stupid.
Charges for uttering threats were stayed.

The Supreme Court of Canada Challenges Military Justice System
The Supreme Court of Canada has ruled that the law governing the military justice system is constitutional. The decision means the defence minister will be allowed to appeal the acquittal of a soldier accused of sexually assaulting a female subordinate. Warrant officer Andre Gagnon was found not guilty in 2014 of sexually assaulting a female corporal in 2011.
The Defence Department appealed, but Gagnon's lawyers moved to have the appeal quashed -- arguing the National Defence Act is partly unconstitutional.

Munich Shooting Day Of Mourning
The mayor of Munich has declared a day of mourning for the victims of a deadly shooting in the capital of Germany's Bavaria state.
Dieter Reiter says the city is -- quote -- "shocked and aghast at this terrible act.'' Police say they're searching for clues to explain why an 18-year-old man opened fire at a crowded shopping mall and fast-food restaurant.
The dual German-Iranian citizen killed nine people and wounded 16 others before turning the gun on himself.
