A piece of history has left the 730 CKDM newsroom.
Steve Nelson who is from Roanoke, Virgina made the long voyage to Dauphin today with his wife Emily in hopes of getting his hands on an old 1958 Gatesway audio mixing console, that was still used by CKDM last October.
Thankfully, Steve was not disappointed and the antique item was given to him where he plans to restore it back to its full self in the United States. He said, "I've been collecting all types of things and I hope to showcase this one in my basement."
Steve began his radio career back in 1965, working with Armed Forces Radio at one point in Naples, Italy.
