Ukrainian pioneers to Canada old and new will be honored here in Dauphin.
The Trembowla Historic Site & Museum Committee are celebrating the 125th Anniversary of Ukrainian settlements in the country through their Moleben, a special prayer service.
Secretary of the Trembowla Historic Site, Kay Slebodzian says Dauphin is a great location for the event because the community is enriched with Ukrainian settlement. She added, "It has a lot of meaning, really the Trembowla site is where the Ukrainian settled in this Dauphin area."
The celebration is scheduled to be held on Sunday, July 31st beginning at 12:30 pm.
