Gilbert Plains' homecoming brought in lots of people near and far.
The homecoming took place during the towns annual fair and rodeo this past weekend.

Co-chair for homecoming, Reba Meyer says, about 500 people signed in at registration on Wednesday.

"But that's not a real true reflection, as many of our local citizens didn't register and we know that not all of our out of town guests registered either. But, lots of people around. To give a specific number I am unable, but it was definitely well over the 500 people."

Homecoming only happens every 10 years.
