Southern Manitoba is under a thunderstorm watch, right up to the north edge of Riding Mountain National Park.
Environment Canada has a severe thunderstorm watch in effect across the south of the province, saying conditions are favourable for storms capable of strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
It also says the threat of severe weather should end this evening.
