School may be coming to an end here in Dauphin, but the renovations on Mackenzie Middle School are still progressing.
At last night's school board meeting they talked about how everything has been moving along great, the only complications have been the leveling of the floor in the building and the roof.

Superintendent Donna Davidson says not everything will be ready by fall.

"The industrial arts and home economics will be accessible but the common area and administration offices, the band room and the library will not be available until later in the year. The gym is scheduled for an October occupancy."

The total cost that the province is paying for the renovations is about 10 million and MVSD is paying about 1.6 million.
