A FundRazr page is up to help replace the drive-in movie screen at the Shamrock Drive-In Theatre after the crazy storm this weekend destroyed it.
Co-owner Joanne Struss says she wasn't home when it all happened but her husband and kids were, and they were keeping a close eye on the screen from inside their home.

"It was before 1:23 in the morning anyway, there was some hail happening and he looked outside again and there was a huge flash of lightening and it allowed him to see that indeed the screen had come down. We had lost two of the seven posts and the screen that connected to those."

The Killarney based theatre was getting ready for it's first season after they had just purchased a new expensive digital projector.

Struss adds they are only two days in after the incident and they have already received so much support near and far.

"My simple little post just showing the damage received over 400 shares, we had almost over 200 comments and about at least 400 reacted to it and at the bottom it says we potentially reached 66,000 people and that's just amazing."

The Shamrock is one of only three drive-ins left in Manitoba.
