The excitement of professional bull riding is set to return to Dauphin in a few weeks time.
The PBR will make a return to Dauphin on Thursday, May 22nd for one show only at Credit Union Place.
Ben Kinkead with Cross Fire Bull Riding says the fit with Dauphin has been an absolute dream for them and the PBR.
He adds this year's show will have a little added importance for the competitors.
"Dauphin is a regular-season start, but due to the support and overwhelming success of last year's inaugural event, we have been able to elevate this year's event to a Tier 2 event. That means the points are even more relevant, there are more points available, and it counts for even more of the $100,000 bonus that these guys are working towards in Edmonton in November."
With that added importance, and being one night before a Canada Cup event in Brandon, Kinkead is expecting the best bull riders on the circuit to be in Dauphin for this event.
Kinkead also said an agreement has been reached between themselves, PBR, and Dauphin Rec Services to bring this event to Dauphin for three years, beginning this year.
There are still some sponsorship possibilities for this event, including a title sponsor.
