What is in your closet?

That is what the Clothesline Spring Blitz 2016 campaign wants to know, as you can donate gently used clothes, which will go to Winnipeg's Value Village. 100% of net proceeds go to help out the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Sue Petersen with Clothesline Spring Blitz says you can get rid of some clutter at the same time.

"We've had a fabulous response, not just from Dauphin, but from all the towns around. People started to go, 'Oh good! I can clean out my closet!' Myself included."

She says there are a few restrictions with what you can donate, however.

"We can't take any household items at all. Just clothing, pillows, quilts. We can take boots, shoes belts, but no dishes, books, stuff like that."

Petersen asks that all donations be put in garbage bags.

The drop off truck will be between Norwex and Gardewine in Dauphin May 27 from 9am-5pm, and May 28 from 9am-2pm.
