Car enthusiasts will be flocking to Roblin next weekend for their 9th annual Rumble in Roblin Show and Sine event.

Set for 4 pm until dark on June 15th, the event has grown every year during its existence, according to event chairperson Keith Fast.

"I believe we started with 45 cars for our first show, and every year we have grown it from there.  We have had really good support from our local business community as far as sponsorships go and really good community spirit behind this car show, and it is a ton of fun."

Last year, around 150 cars took part.

Fast says they get cars from all over the place participating.

"A lot of cars from that Southeast Saskatchewan area.  We have had cars from as far as Winnipeg come, as well as really good representation from Dauphin and the Parkland region.  So yes, we get cars from everywhere,  And every year it is a total bunch of new cars as well, which makes it a lot of fun.  Every year we see new cars and new car clubs coming.  This year we have a club coming from Regina.  It is a ton of fun and a great evening."

Fast adds the Robln community has really embraced this event and eagerly looks forward to it every year.

The show and shine will take place along Main Street in Roblin, and anyone wanting to show off their wheels can simply register onsite the day of the event.
