Some areas in southern Manitoba have been hit hard by the first snowfall of the year.

According to Environment and Climate Change Canada, the Morden-Winkler area received 10-14 cm of snow.

Brandon got about 12 cm, and Melita had 9-12 cm.

Some areas in southeastern Manitoba are still under snowfall warnings today. 

Meanwhile, Manitoba511.ca is reporting snow-covered highways across southwestern and south-central Manitoba, but no highways are closed at this time.
