Environment and Climate Change Canada has continued its Snowfall Warnings for much of Southwestern and Southcentral Manitoba.
The weather office says total snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm are expected for those areas by tonight, with the City of Brandon forecast to receive between 5 and 10 cm.
A Montana low-pressure system has begun to spread accumulating snow to southwestern Manitoba.
\It is expected to spread to the Pembina Valley this afternoon and end overnight.
Areas closest to the American border will see the highest amounts with 24-hour total snowfall accumulations close to 20 cm.
Environment and Climate Change Canada says a second round of flurries could hit those regions, as well as other areas such as Winnipeg and possibly Dauphin, by late Thursday.
