Grade nine student Lane Prokopowich won a 1997 BMW, donated by the Hugh Guttman Family Trust, at Dauphin's high school today.

 

Needless to say, she was pretty thrilled.

 

"I feel really I don't know excited right now. I can't believe I won actually."

 

A draw was made with 283 eligible students. Students were entered into the draw for each week of perfect attendance they had at school, as long as they kept an overall attendance record of 90 per cent or greater for the year.

 

Eleven students were also given swag bags for perfect attendance all year. From them, Michael Abrey was drawn to receive $600 for Source for Sports and $400 in Chamber bucks.
