Sopuck, says our local economy will be impacted by any change.  

"In my view, the big issue relating to the constituency in particular is the trade issue.  We have three trade agreements that are all trying to get negotiated or are floundering, so the North American Free Trade Agreement or NAFTA, we know what President Trump wants to do.  Unfortunately in our view, the Canadian government inserted itself far too aggressively in the negotiations."

Another upcoming issue to affect the Parkland is the carbon tax.
