Anastasia Kubinec, Manager of Crop Development for Manitoba Agriculture, says that the guide will feature a map to indicate where clubroot is found around the province as well as helpful information for soybean growers.

“We also have broken apart the soybeans into more varieties that are set for Eastern Manitoba versus Western Manitoba. That’s both the conventional and the Roundup Ready-tolerant. So that if producers are looking for a soybean variety, they can look more towards varieties that would fit more within their area. Again, there is location data that can narrow it down to locations that are closer to where their farm actually is.”
