Beginning in Grandview today, the Oak Hammock Marsh Interpretive Centre EcoVan is touring schools in the area.

Oak Hammock Marsh manager of operations Nathalie Bays says it's a way to bring wetland and watershed programming to schools.

She says they deliver a variety of programs, catered to meet the needs of various grade levels.

"Some of them have chosen, for example, to dissect owl pellets. Others might be playing games or learning about how animals survive the freeze."

The EcoVan will also make stops in Dauphin, Ethelbert, Winnipegosis, and Gilbert Plains this week.

The school visits are being sponsored by the Intermountain Conservation District.
