Parkland-Northman Chapter community engagement manager for the MS Society Jaime Balak says Canada has the highest rate of MS in the world.
"In Manitoba alone there are approximately 3,500 people who live with MS," says Balak.
Balak says more than $8-million has been raised through this initiative already.
It's not the only burger event happening today, either.
McDonald's in Dauphin is introducing its Create Your Taste burgers today.
Local franchise owner Brady Johnson saying they're launching market by market and this week it's Manitoba.
There is also a free barbeque in CN Park until 1pm today being put on by Brandon University.
