Client Case Worker (1) Full-Time Position

The Client Case Worker will work in parternership with our DNRC Housing Coordinator to provide direct daily support to individuals who are experiencing  chronic, episodic, temporary homelessness, or at risk of homelessness.

The Client Case Worker will:

* Work with participants who have complex needs, including mental health or substance use issues.  They can provide intensive support, connect participants to appropriate services, and ensure they have the necessary resources to maintain housing.

* Work closely with program participants, conducting assessments, developing individualized housing plans, and provide ongoing support.

* Help participants access housing resources, connect with landlords, and address any barriers to housing stability.

The positions are based out of the DNRC Community Centre, however, also work within community settings and participants" homes.  Position schedule is weekday with some weekend hours.                                             

Hourly wage scale - $21-24/hour. 37.5-40 hours/week.

* Must have a valid drivers' license and access to a vehicle

* Background in social services, Social Service Worker Diploma, Harm Reduction, Mental Health First Aid, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills training are an asset.
