730 CKDM BATTLE OF THE BANDS Thursday, June 25th
Five bands of various genres will compete Thursday, June 25th for the title, the glory and the grand prize of $2000 and a performance slot at Countryfest 2016!
This years' competition includes roots, country, indie rock and americana.

HOME HARDWARE CAMPGROUND CONTEST
Join in on this Countryfest tradition, win great prizes and have a heck of a lot of fun in the process. Get your creative juices flowing. Pick your favorite theme and decorate your campsite, your camper, your tent, your truck, yourself and your friends to the extreme.
Be sure to register by 10:00am on Saturday at the Countryfest Office. Judging will take place on Saturday from 11:00am to 1:00pm and winners will be announced at 2:30pm on the Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries Main Stage.
This year's contest includes a special appearance from Randy & Mr. Lahey from The Trailer Park Boys!

PEROGY EATING CONTEST
The first 10 people to sign up at the onsite Countryfest Office by 12:00pm Saturday, June 27th are entered.
The first person to finish 50 perogies in 10 minutes, or who ever eats the most perogies in 10 minutes wins.
The entry fee is only $10 per person and the winner will receive $100 and bragging rights!
