The Dauphin Kings responded to a 2-1 shootout loss to the Wayway Wolverines Saturday night with a 7-1 outcome over the Neepawa Natives Sunday.Kings Head Coach and General Manager Marlin Murray called it his team’s best effort this season. Even though the final shots were 30-25 for Dauphin, the Kings carried the play heavily. Scoring for the Kings in order were Jesse Bernard (5), Taylor Sanheim (1) (GOAL BELOW), Michael Sofillas (3), Brendan McKay (3), Mitch VanTeeling (7 & 8), Jesse Bernard again (6).Jeremy Pominville grabbed the win in goal and improves his record to 5-4-0. The Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) Board of Directors have overwhelmingly voted to support an automatic game misconduct for fighting (the one-fight rule) and new national minimum discipline guidelines.
