It was a game of chances for the Dauphin Kings this afternoon, but they couldn't get any shots past the Pistons goalie, as the Kings fell, 3-0 in Winnipeg.

With the MJHL season more then half over, teams all around the league are not only battling to finish atop the standings but just get into the playoffs as races at the bottom are just as hot as the top.

The Dauphin Kings are set for game two of their MJHL Showcase as they take on the Steinbach Pistons this afternoon.

Dauphin's Jim Todoruk, Douglas Fisher, Keith Pottle, and Michael Zazuliak are heading to Gimli in March to take part in the Manitoba Credit Union's Master Men's Curling Provincials after qualifying for the event yesterday.

Dauphin's Sami Love received some good news to start the month, as she was one of two Brandon University Bobcat players to be named "Player of the Month" for the month of November.

For the fifth time this season, the Dauphin Kings and Winnipeg Blues will hook up, with this afternoon's game being a part of the MJHL Showcase at Bell MTS Iceplex in Winnipeg, which is the home of the Blues.

Tyson Beyak, Osten Sahulka, Garret Benson, and Eric Preston are heading to Altona later this month for the Canola Growers Junior Provincial Championships.

Swan River's Shaelynn Lukey, Delaney Betcher, Coral Zamzow, and Haley Ferriss are heading to the Canola Growers U21 Provincial Championships in Altona after qualifying this past weekend in their hometown.

In his five games as a Dauphin King, Danny Pion has 11 points, and thanks to his efforts he has been named the Recycle Everywhere "MJHL Player of the Week"

The Dauphin Kings are preparing for the MJHL Showcase which starts up today in Winnipeg, but they won't play their first game until tomorrow afternoon at 3:00 against the Winnipeg Blues.

It was a good weekend for Dauphin's Nolan Hadway, Lawson Yates, Jonathon Kohan and Luke Davidson, as they earned a berth in the upcoming U21 Canola Growers Junior Provincial Championships.
