The Dauphin AA Peewee Kings had a slow start and dug themselves in a hole, but they battled back and ended up beating Shoal Lake, 8-7 in a thriller in the Championship Final of the Aspen Insurance Peewee Tournament at Credit Union Place earlier today.

The Kings entered the third period down 5-3, before scoring five goals in the third.

Kyan Grouette stole the show for the Kings, scoring six times including the game-winner with just 1:33 left in the game.

Logan Chapman was also one of the Kings leaders with two goals and two assists, while Madden Murray chalked up three assists.
