Dauphin, Canada

The Dauphin Kings are one day away from their second-last home game of the season, as the Selkirk Steelers will be in town.

Just about a month ago, the Steelers were comfortably in a playoff position, but struggles, as of late, have fans, around the MJHL, wondering if the Steelers will even make the playoffs.

Although missing the playoffs for the Steelers would be highly unlikely, finishing eighth is very much in the question.  With six games left this season, the Steel town boys are in a tie for seventh, and are just four points ahead of Swan Valley, who currently hold the final playoff spot.

Connor Barley, Nico Labossiere, and Nate Halvorsen, lead the Steelers, offensively, with 62, 61, and 55 points, respectively.

The Kings, meanwhile, are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, but are still looking to build momentum, going into next season.

Jaymes Knee leads the Kings, into the game, with 34 points, as the Kings lost their most-recent outing, on Saturday, 4-1, against Steinbach, and before that, last Wednesday, against OCN, 7-4.

After tomorrow's game, the Kings will head out for two-straight road games, before playing their final home game, of the 2017-2018 season, next Tuesday, when the Waywayseecappo Wolverines, are in town.

Puck drop, tomorrow night, is set for 7:30.
