Thanks to a fantastic season, Grandview's Kaine Morran has been named an All-Star, in the NCHL.

In 14 games, Morran tore it up, recording 22 points.

"I think it just shows that our team is playing a lot better this year," said Morran.  "The award goes to me but, overall, the team is just playing a lot better together."

The Comets will enter the NCHL playoffs as the third seed, as they take on the Foxwarren Falcons.

"Our team is basically built for the playoffs," said Morran.  "We have a veteran group.  Now that the playoffs are here, the big push is on and, hopefully, we can make some magic happen again."

Kaine was the only Comets player that was named to the First Team All-Star Roster.
