The Dauphin Kings were back on the ice yesterday, after two days off, as they prepare for a game with the Waywayseecappo Wolverines, on Friday night at Credit Union Place.

"Practice the last couple days has been really good," said Mitch Giguere, Interim Head Coach and GM of the Kings. "We've been learning some new things, and getting all prepared for Friday. We can't wait for that game to happen."

Friday's meeting will be the fifth between the two teams, and the Kings are 3-1 against Wayway this year, with two of the wins coming in overtime.

The last time the two teams met at Credit Union Place, the Wolverines came back, from a two-goal deficit in the third, to win, 6-5.

"It's going to be a really good game," said Giguere. "Both teams want the two points, so, whoever has the better work ethic, and pushes the hardest, will probably win the game."

Puck drop for the Kings and Wolverines on Friday is set for 7:30.
