The Dauphin Kings kick off a busy week starting up tonight as they make the trip up north to take on the OCN Blizzard.
The meeting will be the first time the Kings have battled with former teammate Riley Shamray, who’s fit in very nicely with the Blizzard.
In just 3 games with the Blizzard, Riley has three points, while Jaymes Knee comes in riding a hot streak for the Kings, as he has at least a point in four straight games.
The Kings come into the game on a three-game losing streak and have slipped 19 points back of a playoff spot entering the night.
Tonight’s meeting is the fifth of six between the two teams, and for the most part, it’s been all Blizzard, as they have a 3-1 record against the Kings this season, but the Kings did win the last meeting on December 5.
Puck drop is a little earlier than usual tonight at 7 p.m., and you can hear all the action right here on 730ckdm, kicking off with the pregame show just before 6:50.
