It was a battle back for the ages for the Dauphin Kings as they erased a three goal deficit, to eventually pick up two points in a 6-5 shootout win over the Neepawa Natives.

The Natives scored the games first two goals, but the Kings trimmed the deficit to one as Kyle Oleksiuk batted one past the Natives goalie, but the Natives scored another to take a 3-1 lead after 20.

In the second, the Kings completely changed the game, as they scored four goals to only one from the Natives.

Jaymes Knee scored two in the period, while Matt Bartel, and Mason Fischer scored one each as the Kings led 5-4 after 40.

The third period featured chances both ways, but the only goal was scored by the Natives with 27 seconds left in the game as they tied it and sent it into overtime.

The Natives had the better chances in the overtime frame, but Justin Anderson stood strong between the pipes for the Kings which sent the  game to a shootout.
