The Everett Silvertips held their WHL Camp this weekend. Mark Liwiski and Conner Dewar of Dauphin were there.

Team Red and Dauphin's Mark Liwiski claimed the Volunteer Cup at the Everett Silvertips camp this weekend. Liwiski was one of 77 players attending the camp, and one of two Dauphin boys along with Connor Dewar.

Liwiski and the red team were 3-1 through the camp, eventually capturing the Volunteer Cup on Saturday, a regular feature that's come to be expected from 'Tips camp.

On Sunday Liwiski played for the Red Team again in the Rookie Game. But Red's luck ran out as they were topped by the Blue Team 3-0.

Connor Dewar played in the Grey vs Green Game for Team Green, which followed the Rookie Game. He saw time on the third line at left wing.

Team Green ran into Team Grey's reigning CHL Goaltender of the Year, Carter Hart, who stopped 42 shots in tandem. Grey won the decision 2-1.

Dewar, who's coming off his first full season with Everett which earned him Silvertips Rookie of the Year honours, will likely stay with the team, while Liwiski, 15, will return to the Parkland Midget Rangers.
